Hawathia Joe Landram
(December 18, 1953 - January 16, 1986)

H. Joe Landram, 32, of 732 Gardner St., died Thursday morning in University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born in Waynesboro, Friday Dec. 18, 1953, a son of Jaunita Price Landram of Waynesboro and the late Homer Landram.

Mr. Landram was a former employee of Hall Industries Inc., a parttime employee of Dairy Queen and a member of Waynesboro Moose Lodge No. 1309 and Sher-Lyn Baptist Church.

Besides his mother, survivors include one daughter, Virginia Anne Landram; one brother, Thomas H. Landram of Charlottesville; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Perry of Waynesboro and Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Gum of Churchville; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Annie Belle Price of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Dennis Wayne Landram and Ronnie Kay Landram, preceded him in death.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Toms and the Rev. William Strickler.

Burial will be in Fishersville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Arthur Hutchinson, Mason Fitzgerald, Jerry Moser, Donald Layne, James Carr, J.B. Coffey, Dale Thorne and Edward Zimmerman.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Jones and members of Sher-Lyn Baptist Church and Waynesboro Moose Lodge No. 1309.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening in the funeral home.
